At my last cleaning they recommended a WaterPik but those are crazy expensive. This is much smaller but powerful. This is easy to use and has a pause feature so you can spit. Has a variety of interchangeable heads. I get 4 good cleanings per fill up of water. I also charged the unit when it arrived which was recommended and it is still going strong. I haven't noticed any leaking from the tank during use. My gums are definitely better not swollen or bleeding as often while brushing since I started using this.
